Ever wonder what to feed your new puppy or current dogs? That's one of the questions i get asked most often...

When i research dog foods (as there are so MANY to choose from) i first look at the first few ingredients as those are the most important and meat should always be the first one. The guaranteed analysis was the next important one to look at.

Prior to switching to
Life's Abundance Nutritional System and Agility Formula we fed NutriSource, which is also a good food. I was
very impressed by the quality of the products and high standards of this dog food and the amazing testimonials from the customers and field representatives of this company. Proper nutrition is just one way I can help to  improve the quality of life for my dogs and my future puppies.
Very Excited, just heard they will be coming out with Lamb formula in February 2022!

Also,
Life's Abundance Dog Food received a 5 star rating from Dog Food Advisors!

I found it interesting that pet food was developed around World War II. It consisted of left-over grains that were rejected for human consumption. they soon realized that grains alone were not providing adequate nutrition, so protein was added, again with the source being rejected meat for human consumption; dead, diseased, dying, disabled, or drugged animals met the criteria. YUCK!

Did you know that our pets genetically can live to be 20 years old, but the current average is 13-15? While many factors help the longevity of life – environment, health care, etc. nutrition is one of the most important factors.

Many of the ingredients in our pet foods we see today causes a shorter life span due to the ingredients that cause stress on their kidney and liver functions which include; wheat, corn, and soy. These are also major allergens to our pets.

By-products such as chicken heads, duck bills, fish heads, chicken and turkey feet, bones and diseased & contaminated slaughterhouse meat can also be included in our pet foods! BHA, BHT, which harms our dog’s liver and kidneys and are known carcinogens. As well as Ethoxyquin, which is used to stabilize rubber can also be used. All these chemicals are added to provide a longer shelf life, for months, even possibly a couple of years.
While this dog food “may seem” more expensive up front, the cost is about $1.88 a day for a 70 pound adult dog. Americans spend more than that on their Starbuck's coffee every morning!!! You feed less dog food, but they receive more nutrition! They are able to digest and utilize the dog food more. And you are ensuring a long and healthy life for your pet when you feed them quality nutrition! Isn't your precious puppy worth it?

 Life's Abundance Ingredients:
PROTEIN

Protein is essential for all body functions, including those of the brain, heart, muscles, skin, skeleton and others. This healthy dog food contains high-quality multi-source proteins.

Chicken meal is the first ingredient in this nutritious dog food recipe. Some foods contain whole chicken or chicken parts, which naturally contain a fair amount of water. We use chicken meal because most of the water has been removed, making it a concentrated source of protein. This means that there is a greater “protein content” in one pound of chicken meal versus one pound of whole chicken or chicken parts.

ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM

Canines naturally produce antioxidants, but it’s a limited amount. That is why we cannot emphasize enough the importance of antioxidants. This healthy dog food contains an antioxidant system including guaranteed amounts of vitamins C and E. We’ve even included cranberries and blueberries which are renowned for their antioxidant properties.

HEALTHY FATS

Chicken Fat
We believe the primary fat source in dog food should be animal-based because canines derive significant nutrition from these fats. While vegetable oils may sound healthier, dogs actually need the specific nutrients found in animal fats that are not available in vegetable sources. Additionally, there’s great variation in the quality of animal fats, so be sure to verify that the source is species-specific and not generic (like “chicken fat”, not “animal fat”).

Omega 3 Fatty Acids
The benefits of essential fatty acids are well known, as omega-3s are some of the most extensively researched, naturally occurring nutritional ingredients in the world. The guaranteed amount of omega-3s in our premium kibble helps support healthy skin, shiny coats and overall wellness.

Other Healthy Fat
Our dog food also contains flaxseed meal and eggs, which are excellent sources of healthy fats.

WHOLE GRAINS

Whole grains contain protein, fiber, B vitamins, iron, zinc and other minerals. They also provide the kind of carbohydrates that deliver sustained energy to your dog.

Ground Brown Rice
Ground brown rice is the entire grain with only the inedible outer husk removed. This whole grain contains seven minerals and five B vitamins.

Oat Groats
Oat groats are whole oats that have been cleaned, toasted, hulled and cleaned again. Amazingly, they retain nearly all of their original nutrients after this process. Oat groats also contain seven minerals and five B vitamins.

OTHER KEY INGREDIENTS

Prebiotic Fiber
This non-digestible, fibrous ingredient acts to feed the good bacteria throughout the digestive system.

Probiotics
Probiotics are good bacteria and help support healthy immune and digestive systems. Unlike other pet food companies, we guarantee the amount of health-promoting probiotics in our dog food, ensuring your puppy receives these beneficial ingredients with every bite. What's more, the strains we selected are species-specific, meaning that they're optimized to support canine health.
