Some
requirements of Dam owner: |
- Litter
must be registered with either USA/SV or AKC.
- By signing this
Contract, the bitch owner agrees that the
puppies will be placed in proper homes suitable
to the temperament of the puppy, with
working/competition homes getting priority. No
sale of puppies will be made to any individual
connected with a wholesaler or broker, pet
shops, puppy mills, guard or attack businesses,
or any person(s) associated with said
activities.
- Dam must be
registered with either the USA/SV or AKC and be
at least 24 months of age.
- Dam must have a
performance title (or in the process of getting
titles) or be a working dog.
- Dam owner will
provide documentation of hip and elbow ratings
per OFA of good or better OR “a” stamp
with the SV in Germany.
- Dam must not
have any disqualifying faults per USA/WUSV
German Shepherd Dog standard. Standard can be
found at
http://germanshepherddog.com/regulations/breed_standard.htm
- Dam owner
will provide a 4 generation pedigree, with
pictures of dam, and dam’s sire and dam. Also
include in pedigree all titles (performance,
accomplishments and show ratings/surveys).
- Dam owner will
provide documentation of current vaccinations.
- Dam owner will
provide copy of USA scorebook, if applicable.
- Dam owner will
provide documentation of a negative brucellosis
test within 30 days of breeding.
- Dam must have a
vaginal culture and a vaginal exam (breeding
soundness exam) performed by a licensed
veterinarian within 14 days prior to breeding.
- Dam will have
progesterone tests done so that an accurate date
of breeding is possible. My veterinarian
recommends sending the test out for greater
accuracy.
